Statement

The works of Simone Benedetto represent an imagination that, starting from the "already said" of contemporary art, builds an individual and original hierarchical scheme of ideas. The archetypes are seemingly simple: games, childhood, war and social upheaval. Over everything, however, the mantle of the macro-topic of technology is spread; that is, how the latter has modified the previously established semiotics and interpersonal relationships, in particular from the birth of social networks.
